When you hire Awen Vale Press for your developmental editing services, I will thoroughly read your manuscript and return a detailed editorial letter noting what is working well, consistency and plausibility issues, as well as missed opportunities in the context of plot structure, character development, setting, pacing, and point of view. 

Line editing gets to the finer points of writing, the magic at the sentence level. Line editing will not only help smooth out clunky sentences but suggest tips for creating compelling prose that sings on the page. I will return line edits as inline comments within the document, along with an explanation of why I am suggesting the changes.
